02 Explorer Compass Calibration?
Brand new 02' Explorer. Trying to cal the compass because it shows I am always travelling North or Northeast only. I generally know where I am going, but it's irritating to see it wrong all the time. I followed the manual, but while driving in circles while in "cal" mode, it never leaves cal mode, and the only way to get out of cal mode is to cycle the ignition. Any thoughts? Maybe I am going too fast, or the manual has a typo and I am supposed to drive in a tight circle until I run out of gas rather than five circles??? Otherwise, I really like the truck.
