which u-joints

well I'm working on my 76 ,150 ,with a 390 and 4~2
so after I replaced the pinon seal I thought it would be a good time to change the u joints,well after 3 trips to the part house and a look-a-bout on line can't find or get {and not sure} on u joints the old ones were marked 293
the computer at the store did not have that number and when we mic-ed it out nothing in the book matched that size .
did they not make like 5 million f150 in 1976? wtf?
2nd question if were all still friends here,the vent on the axle ,should it be hollow or what because the rubber hose was broke off and the hole was packed with dirt so i went to clean it out and was not hollow ,i even unbolted it from the drive axle and it seamed to have a metal center ? any thoughts?
thanks

that vent should be straight through hollow. I had to run a small drill bit through mine a few times to break it up, then carb cleaner and a small round file.

Should be a regular 1310 u-joint. Doubt it is a 1330 or the ******* 1310-1330 style.

Using Neapco numbers...

1310 = #153
1310-1330 = #134
1330= #4800

It will be one of those 3.
