i recently had my radiator go out and its been sitting for awhile and my moms friend got rid of it and im trying to find the right size. ive seen many sizes like 23 1/4 x 30 1/4 and 23 1/2 and 30 1/2 i know it has to be 30 in long but what correct size is needed in a 1994 f250?

i don't think they messed around with the 9th gen idi trucks (92-94) with diff size rads.a/c or not,i think they all used used the same size.but i don't know this for sure.like 50% sure
just look up rads at diff parts places online and see if you see anything for size options......i sure don't remember there being any when i looked.shoot,even that 8th gens i think all used the taller rads too.though maybe back then it was based on A/C or not.heck if i know lol.
will u guys check this out and see if this will work? i had my eyes on this one for awhile. and please be honest on your opinion it would be much appreicated

you'll need a different type of coolant for aluminum rad or heater core.
coolant and SCA's designed for aluminum,but it cannot be ELC either (some people think ELC coolant is ok for older engines as well......why? i donm't know.lack of research for one,for sure.they think they know better than navistar or ford for reason #2 i guess?)
you'll also need to ditch that 16 lb cap and replace it with a 13 lb cap.
a lot of people blindly run aluminum parts in place of the factory copper/brass without first researching things.mostly because this is mainly what the aftermarket/replacement parts are made of now due to the price of copper.
i didn't post how to get the copper/brass rad for pretty much the same $ as the aluminum just for the heck of it.
but if your set on aluminum and need help finding a proper diesel coolant,let me know.i can research to see what id use if i was stuck buying the aluminum (but iv got to tell ya,id just buy a used copper/brass first.)
edit;
found what you need real quick actually:

Silicates and SCA's are not the best of friends.
I will stick with a brass radiator and heater core, then there is no aluminum, no need for silicates to protect what is not there.
So I can keep running low silicate antifreeze like I do now.

what SCA's to use with that though? not sure.you'll have to research a little,iv never taken the time.
on top of this,you'll also what to research and how to test for electrolysis when going with aluminum as well,if you want the thing to last that is.
