Its not much but the heat and sun finally got too much for me. Last friday, I decided to help myself out in that department. I took the truck and had the windows did. For me, it had moved to the top of my list. I told the lady there that i wanted whatever was legal and dark as possible and this what I got. They have been in business for 20 years and have done one other truck for me in the past. There are still things that I want to do to the truck but that is the first MOD so far besides having to replace the tailgate. I finally got to the point where I could spend a little each month towards that type of stuff. Even if it means I save it for something bigger later on.
Looks good. Tint is one of the best things you can do, IMO. It really helps keep the heat and glare down, keeping you much more comfortable. Even when the sun is directly coming through the tinted windows, you are hardly bothered by it. I have matching 20% on my front windows to match up with the rear, the shop did a great job and it looks identical. I can see how going too dark would be a problem in one of these ocean liners though.
