I got pics for an article on my site, I just have not spent the time writing it yet.
It's an easy mod if your good at soldering in tight spaces.
Its really cheap unless you need to buy the soldering iron.
Any specific questions you want to know?

I got a guy at a TV repair shop to solder mine in. I like the mod but keep a share with me just in case.

From what i've gathered from reading threads on this subject is if you mod your idm,it is smart to have a spare idm in case something ever goes wrong with it. thats why im waiting for a spare before i do the mod.JMO

Beans does the mod for you for $100. I think that's the route I'm gonna take.

x2. It's a $5 resistor IIRC. $95 in your pocket/fuel tank

Even better. Guess I also forgot to account for whatever you're using to seal the IDM back up with, most have that laying around the shop though

I've run mine for years now and think its reliable. There has only been to my knowledge a low percentage of problems.

Well, it depends on your soldering skill. But a lot of guys have had some failures as well.
Hit or miss.
I'd honestly look for a 120volt SD IDM.

I know Swamps does a better one but its more expensive. Like $475...
I would do it myself but I don't have a spare laying around just encase... So that's why I was gonna just have beans or swamps do it.
How come you don't like beans? I haven't dealt with them before... Should I stay away from them?

hmmm... that is good info to know... Thanks for the heads up! I might just get the swamps IDM when I get a set of injectors from them.
