My a/c will just cut off while I'm driving and then will come back on when it wants to and works fine. Any ideas

Check the link in my post, easy check is if its idling and not getting cool tap the clutch and see if it engages, if so it's likely your gap.

Do you know of that will work on mine. I have a 5.4 and the compressor is on the bottom by the block. And it was talking about being for a diesel. Should ne the same for all right.

Wish I was that lucky. My Excursion has a rear hose leak and Ford wants $933. to replace it and recharge the system.

I don't know how hard that would be to change. But at 933$ I would try it my self first. But hey I'm cheap so....

Well if that pipe goes from the front to the rear, you sure arent going to get it done on the driveway. You might be able to cut out the old one but the new one cant be cut back in..
If you can pull the body off you can get to them real easy!
