Anybody going to be affected by this storm?? It kinda sux living near the beach of Surf City. Well now anyway.

We've been getting periods of heavy rain all day. We can use the rain. Wind is pretty moderate, just enough to push trashcans around, we got lucky this time. Good luck up there.

Thanks, I was hoping we were good but it keeps shifting west which living about 5 miles from the ocean may be bad.

I've had way too many myself, living 12 miles from the Gulf coast. The advise I can give you is, if you drink beer you need to get it before they do a mandatory evacuation. They quit selling liquor at that time and the party will be a flop.

Everyone be safe and be smart. Got some buddies on the Outer Banks of NC and some are staying, some are leaving. Once it's here, the choice is made, no leaving then, but as one said, if he leaves, it may be weeks before he is able to get back home. Prayers are up for all in the path.
