I also was wondering, how did you use the electronic speedometer in place of the old cable driven setup? Which series of gauges are those?
You sir, are a gifted man! Your truck looks incredible! Very nicely done!

Thanks! Gauges are Autometer Z series. Z series speedos only come in mechanical cable driven. If you want an elctronic speedo, they sell a sending unit in place of the cable.

Thanks. I did this a couple years ago. This was my first attempt at doing this sort of stuff. Wasnt really to serious about it, realized I was actually pretty good at it and did a ton of research, got all the tools I needed and started it all over again the beginning of this year. Its all in my other "Redone" thread if you havent seen it.

For "not knowing what you're doing" it came out nicer than guys that think they do.

Maybe I'm missing something but how are the windows operated?

Well I had an idea of what I was doing. Just not a ton of experience. As long as you get the basics down with this stuff its not too difficult. As far as designing and coming up with different ways of creating pieces, thats the part thats hard to teach. Just have to have an eye for it.

Window switches are down right below the middle seat in the console.

Parts list info

Man this interior is slick and you've given me insight on how is like mine to look. I'm currently trying to door my door panels and wasn't going to go as far as fiberglass ing the whole door to make full panels( which I'd love to do) but it's not in my truck budget.
What I was trying to figure out is the door handle placement. Did you have to cut out the metal part of the door to recess it?
What type and size foam did you use under you material?
How did you get the pattern or lines in your design? Did you have to see those that way the then tuck them or did you piece them together separately in layers ?
Dude thank you for the insight this is the best detail I've seen any design. Thanks

Bringing this back from the dead.

It's a shame that the pictures don't work anymore in this thread. I can remember some of the work and would like to be able to reference it. Anyone know if there is a way to bring the pictures back? OP mind posting again?!
