well it's been 6 months since I sat in my truck but the snow is gone and the old girl is just about thawed out .
I took the tarp off for a few days to get some heat under it
It looks good took the winter pritty good man I can't wait for a garage so I can finish the body and get paint on it.
I think I'll plate it this year and try driving it(leagally)
I can't go far from home with 1948 plates the look a little suspisus
I'll keep you's posted
How nice for you! Guess it depends on where you are. Spring hasn't sprung here yet in the "nawth" country. We had some light snow this morning and no temps higher than 40s in the forecast for at least another week. I am getting anxious.
Boy, I feel for you guys! Makes me feel rather "girlish" knowing that we had only a couple of days that the high was below freezing this winter. I only used the "it's too cold" excuse once, though, but I used the "I'm too busy with other junk" way too many times!
It's 70 right now, but highs to be near 80 all week and weekend!
Up here in God's country it got positively balmy this past Sautrday - about 45 to 50 degrees F (with a light rain), so I pulled my old engine and tranny out. Now it's back a little below freezing with scattered snow flurries. But the snow banks on either side of my driveway have gone from 6 ft high to completely gone, so spring is a coming. It is a coming.
Ferg, you say in God's country, I didn't know you were in Oklahoma...lol, sorry couldnt resist. It is supposed to in the 70s and 80s this week, just feel the need to tear into the old girl, maybe polish the rusty wheels or something.
"just feel the need to tear into the old girl, maybe polish the rusty wheels or something."
While I can see where spring being in the air and all would make you want to tear into the old girl and then go work on your truck, we don't discuss our sex lives in here. This is a truck forum.

Don't feel bad Fergie, I doubt God's completely forsaken you there. At least you still can get Labatt Blue.
