Ride height check
Ride height check
I just bought a 95 F250 4x4 7.3 psd and when I went to replace the shocks I noticed very little room between the bump stop and the leaf plate. This seems less than normal, anyone have a measurement for stock height?
I dont have any measurements for you but that IS normal. The bump stop is there for any circumstance where you may jounce your suspension or load the hell outta your truck. Under any other circumstances the springs hold the weight and the shock dampens.
Id be more bugged about how scrunched up the boot is on the shock... I see pinch potential. Then again, I work on air suspensions and I have an OCD sort of compulsion with that...

Thanks guys, it just seemed odd that there would only be ~1.5" of up travel on a 4x4 truck. Yeah the boots are annoying, not what I'd expect from Bilstein. I can't even force them to accordian properly.
