My truck recently died while i was driving down the road. Figured it was the fuel pump and the Ford dealership told me this was the problem. However they quoted me $1,600 to replace it. Is it really that hard to replace the fuel pump?
They do mean the high pressure oil pump. It was the Ford Dealership that was telling me it was a "fuel pump" but described the HPOP. So now i understand why the cost is so high.
