For the wiper ****, you have to remove it like the picture below with a sharp pick or other tool. Don't get frustrated, it's pretty hard to do and sometimes I end up jerking the **** off, but it's hard on the wiper switch.

For the headlight switch, you can reach up behind the dash and feel around on the side of the switch opposite the wires. There will be a button. Go out and take the battery cable off, pull the headlight **** all the way out, and then push on the button and pull again, and the whole **** and shaft will come out.

For the headlights you have to reach up under the dash, there is a little button to push.

For the wipers... I just play with it for a bit to get it off, a paperclip might help. The whole rod doesn't come out like for the headlights.

It's alright, I couldn't figure it out the first time. I'm suprised I didn't break anything trying to pull them off..

Edit: ^^ Franklin explained it better.

OK...Thanks........ The headlight switch is just like my Mopars then, but the wiper is a new one on me........

Thanks for the quick heads-up.

Just as a little tip, if you have any of those tiny eyeglass screwdrivers laying around, take one and bend the tip into an L shape. You can then use the end of the screwdriver to get into the little notch of the *****, and then depress the spring and remove the *****. If you stick the screwdriver in correctly, the bent end of the tip should be facing the ****, while the shaft of the screwdriver shall be pointing towards you. Pull the shaft of the screwdriver towards you to depress the clip, and at the same time pull on the ****.

Already bent a special tool out of a key ring......Just what the doctor ordered.....BUT the headlight switch is worse than any I've worked on in the last 40 years........you gotta be a chimpanzee to get in there......

you can pull the **** off the light switch the same way you go it off the wiper switch also.

Hmmm didn't know that, I gave up on the button because my full figured fingers couldnt get up in the dash due to my brake controller being in the way.
