ok i know how to do the back part i have found lots of info on that side of it. but what the hell do i do with the front? i am not clear on how to do this. and also does anyone have any pictures of what it looks like after its done.
Front: disconnect the spring towers and shock towers from the frame,
drop the top mounting holes to the lowers mounting holes and bolt it up,
Fabricate a bracket to support the lower part of the towers.
Get new 7º c-bushings
that is what mudder460 told me to do but i am not real clear on how to fab the bracket and im going to be doing enough fab work on the back that im going to get about 5 inches out of the back by pretty much completely rebuilding both spring mounts as well as flipping them. hard to explain but will try and take pictures. anyways if anyone could help me out with the front part that would be awesome.
All he meant for the bracket is something to fill the gap between the bottom of the frame and the bottom of the coil bucket. For example, if you used 3" box tube, you could set it on the bottom of the frame and the top of the lip on the coil bucket. Hope this helps. If I can, I will try and find some pictures, but I can't remember off the top of my head where I saw them...
Thanks guys. Yeah some pics would be awesome ted. And mark I could always use another idea on the back shackle part. As there are several schools of thought.
