Bango Fitting

Can anyone tell me what is the fitting that mounts to the back of the fuel pump that the bango bolt goes through , it seems that mine has sprung a leak on one of the lines on the fitting . Where to get one of these fittings or can I get someone to braze this line to stop a leak ?

Is it the actual tube that is leaking or just the banjo washers? Here's a parts diagram for you.

Bajo washers part# - 9A375
Bajo bolt part # - 9R549
Banjo tubes part# - 9C387

Kent, you may wann try to just snug it up some. Also, have you looked athe the fuel pump real good? There are 2 weep holes that will leak leak when your pump is done.

dclack! Nice diagram! Can I pm my e-mail to you so you can send that pic to me and any other cool diagrams you may have?
Thanks!

I actually got it from FordParts.com. Most parts have a "View Image" link next to it. Click that and it will bring up a list of Illustrations. Click the one you want. The first time you go there you will have to download some software for it to work. The part numbers in the image are actually hyperlinks that take you to that part description when clicked.

I don't think you can save the images, but you can print and scan them.

Bet you can print them to a PDF and save them to your computer that way though! I will have to give this a shot when I get home. Don't want to load the software on my work computer...

Edit: Never mind! No software required. Cool site. I am adding it to my Bookmarks. Thanks for the tip. Reps sent.

I did try to snug the bango bolt but no luck . I watched while running and it was coming from the metal line going into the fitting . The fuel pump was replaced about 3 months ago and i thought it was the bolt also . Its just odd that all of a sudden sprung a leak prob a gal every 2 mins

Thanks for the site!

bummer about the line. I would try to repair or fix some sort of way. I am pretty sure you are not the first. Hopefully some one will give you some good advice. Please let us know what you do and how you do it.

It probably got damaged while changing the pump. Sounds like you need new banjo tubes and washers to go with it.

Edit: part# - 9C387 is orings not the Banjo tubes. I can't find the banjo tube part number on the diagram!?
