These are the numbers on the 4v intake I got:
3L27
C4SE 9425A
Thinking maybe number dummy could figure this out? Just wonder what they mean? Wonder if it is for the motor it cam off of.
ND and others on here are more knowledgeable on this stuff than I am, but the decoder I have used in the past, at the link below, makes it a '64 Thunderbird.
It's nothing special but is a decent performer. As far as factory cast iron goes, it's better than a "S" or a "T" intake but not as good as the CJ. Aftermarket aluminum obviously has alot better stuff.
Sweet I am satisfied. I am going to put it in te truck here soon I dont want to spend the money on go fast parts. I want to eventually build a 460 with a 5 speed for it in like 10 years. The 390 is what I had to replace the 360.
Keep in mind that the earlier intakes had the "low" riser ports and combined with the later "Standard" riser port of the cylinder head will create a small wall atthe bottom of the port.
In dyno testing it has been shown to not really effect performance "that" much, but it's something to keep the port mismatch in mind.
The motor came out of a 64 T-Bird and the intake and carb came out of a 64 T-Bird. Dad was givin two of them from an old man that didn't want to finish them. So I don't think should be a problem with mismatching.
