I need help identifying an intake I've had for a long time. It's a four barrell that has larger secondaries. I've got the numbers D1ZE942533 BB. This intake does have the CF emblem. Some other numbers found were 2E31. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Drk2
Look at the casting numbers again. Is it a Ford manifold? If it is it should have casting numbers that start with a letter and then a number and then 2 more letters. The larger secondaries indicate some sort of a spreadbore carb.
Thanks for responding. The fella I gave this intake to supplied me with these numbers off the intake. He's blind in one eye and can't see out the other, he's bringing the intake back to me so that I can get all the identifying marks and numbers. The reason I'm helping him with this intake is that he has a 71' 400 sitting in his yard out of a torino that he is giving me along with another 72' 400 parts motor. I'm also checking into some cleveland motors he has. I will repond with some better info later today. Again, thank you guy's. DRK 2
The actual part number for that piece is D1ZE-9425-BB. As F150Daniel said, it's a 1971 series casting made on May 31, 1972 most likely installed in a Mustang. 9425 simply means it's an intake manifold and the BB is an engineering revision code. My guess would be that since it's a spreadbore it came from a 351C 4V or HO motor out of a 72 Mustang or Torino.
