Does it matter which side is PCV?
Currently the passenger side valve cover has a breather tube going up to my air cleaner and the driver side has the oil cap with the PCV valve on top going to my carburetor. Oh and this is on a 79 F-150 with a 400. I am putting dual snorkels on my air cleaner, but the driver side snorkel keeps hitting the top of the pcv valve. I could put a carb spacer on to raise the air cleaner (air cleaner spacers are no good), or come up with a different oil cap that is shorter and has a shorter pcv valve, or put the pcv valve on the passenger side and just put a cap or breather on the driver's side. Any suggestions? Does it matter which side of the engine the pcv valve is on? Thanks guys!
