Heater controls
got a question? I need to get new heater controls mine are all messed up! My truck does not have ac! So I go to the local salvage yard and they are all either ac or taken out already! Will the ones with ac work, I just won't be able to use all the settings or does it have to be the same as mine? Also I don't have dual tanks if I get one with the switch is that switch capable as being used as a toggle switch for something?

Don't give up on the search so easily.
There are more places to look than the local junkyards...
I don't think the A/C controls will work for you. The A/C panel doesn't have an off position on the motor speed switch. ON/OFF is controlled on the vacuum switch and the vertical switch controls speed only.
I've probably got a couple non-A/C panels kicking around if you'd like to PM me. We could work something out and I can mail you one.
