Okay, fine- so Patton was a nut case, too.

Everybody complains to Ken about one person because he doesn't share the same point of view, and he gets condemned. Say ANYTHING in this forum that's ever-so-slightly to the left of Michael Savage, and twenty people are just ready to pounce and verbally beat you to death. A lot of people no longer participate in the General Conversations forum for this very reason; they stick to what this site is REALLY all about- FORD TRUCKS. Well, you know what? I've just become another one. You don't want to have intelligent conversations where two sides of an issue can be discussed- you just want to browbeat people till they give in and agree with you. Allright, you win. I apologize to each and every one of you for ever disagreeing with anyone here. I've had enough, and as Waxy said: I'm not getting enough work done anyways. Don't bother responding, 'cause I'm outta here.

You'll find me from now on where I belong: in the technical forums.

that is so typical.

"20 people are just ready to pounce and verbally beat you to death"

no, 20 people present the truth to refute your statement or their oppinion that differs from yours and your somehow getting verbally beaten? hmmmm.

please explain to me EXACTLY what constitutes a discussion in your world? does it mean that everybody agrees with you or they may dissagree but only slightly? btw, in a discussion....isnt the objective to sway those involved? otherwise.......why discuss a topic at all?

"this site is REALLY all about-FORD TRUCKS"

i beg to differ. this site is all about ford trucks and the people who drive them. people from all walks of life who drive them. i believe we are all a family and how boreing would our daily family gatherings be if we only talked trucks? even in the closest families, peolple disagree.

" i apologize for ever disagreeing with anyone here"

that is so childish that its almost sad. maybe you will learn that apeezment DOESNT work and pass that along.

btw, "patton was a nutcase too".......do you mean the same Patton that you said wouldnt stand for the things that Ranger said? one minute he's your hero and the next he's a "nut case"?

an argument is a powerful thing until proven wrong.

Another bit o American History;
During the Civil War one could "avoid" conscription by one of two ways. You could have another individual join in your stead or for the sum of 300.00 US you could buy your way out.
People complained so they did away with that idea.
Jump up 100 or so years and people invented theI'm either gay, flat footed, or in college, or C.O. or on my way to Canada.
Point here is you don't know the names of any of these people and rightfully so.
Everyone will remember Jessica Lynch.
You can look to those persons who's actions inspire us to be a little more than we are.
Or you can look to those persons who's actions inspire us to be a little less than we might be.
Freedom of choice my freinds freedom of choice.
I live in the city were this guy turned himself in and I honestly don't know his name and I would not remember it if i heard it.
To close I would steal a line from one of our own AlM if I may have the honor.

Bless all who serve.

I really couldn't care less about which side of the argument anyone here is on. Its all just an stupid pissing match, each of you trying to prove you are more enlightened than the people who's beliefs are on the other side of the aisle. I don't read these threads anymore because I believe they've become moronic to say the least. Its unfair anyone to put the blame on me because I'm not on the forums reading all 1500+ daily posts so I can babysit a bunch of adults who can't behave themselves.

Frankly I didn't even know what was in this thread, had no desire to read it, much less respond, until someone contacted me about it.

The whole freaking group needs to quit taking their opinions so damn seriously and trying to force them down everyone's throat, whether they on the left or the right. Am I pissed? You bet. I've got better things to do then play "Den Mother" and this has happening far too often in the last three months.

Strike two.
