I got them on ebay they are for an 05 and i did have to cut the header panel a fair amount but it was super easy and no way to mess anything up. Just keep cutting till they fit they don't mount on the header panel anyway.
I got the grill and the headlights for $260 bucks. I had to cut the grill too, but it was easy with a long blade in my jig saw.
I just installed a set of these on my Excursion tonight. I'll have some pictures of mine up in the next few days. (New grill too.)
I went to the link and checked the info. It looks easy. I read on the post that it required 2 bolts and clips. Will this be self explanitory when I get the kit? Are they Ford bolts or just common hardware store parts?
Are you happy with the light output? Was it equal to or better than stock?
I have the '05+ lenses on my F350 and the '02+ (clear lenses) on the X. With relay harness and Hella 80/100 bulbs, the '02-'04 headlights put out more usable light and are not inundated with the POS H13/9008 bulbs. The ceramic pigtails were not available yet and after several melted pigtails/harnesses I just went to HID.
