5" exhaust

has anyone tried the hypermax 5" kit for excursions? i really want 5" for my conversion but cant find any info on it. thinking of maybe buying a superduty kit and moding it. any suggestions would be great!

You realize there is no performance gain 4" to 5", right?

I like the sound"cackle" of my 3 1/2 on the ex over the quieter sound of the 4" on my 350. Would hate to hear how quiet a 5" system would be. My opinion.

I agree, the straight-piped stock exhaust on my F350 isn't as loud as 4" MBRP on my X and does not have the 'drone' I have in the X w/4" system either. I like the 'cackle' sound it makes at 30psi of boost tooo! 5" is LOUDER, but I don't think it sounds better.

There is no performance difference either - don't believe anyone who sez there is!!

I kinda miss how quiet the X was with all stock exhaust - part of why I kept it for 100k miles...

well i want 5" because on my dodge going form a aftermarket 4" kit to 5" i droped 150* egt at wot. in my case i will take all the reduction i can get.

btw my ex has a cummins 24v with a p-pump and a nv4500
