Gonna stack the 93 IDI

I just got out the trusty sawzall and cut the muffler off my 93 IDI. I left the straight pipe about even with the back of the cab. The pipe measures 2.5" OD. I'm looking at gettting a Pypes single stack kit. Does anyone know where I can find a 2.5" to 4" adapter so I can tie the factory pipe into the Pypes kit? I'm sure one of the local muffler shops could tie it in for me but I'd rather do it myself.

Not sure where you can get an adapter and even if you want to do it yourself your local muffler shop will make an adapter for you

I was just looking at Jegs and they have a 2.5" to 3" and a 3" to 4" adapter. I have a short piece of 3" pipe so I could get those adapters and connect the 3" pipe to the 2.5" pipe then connect to 3" pipe to the 4" inlet on the stack kit. It would probably be easier to just let the muffler shop do it but I like doing it all myself. Everything I've done to my two IDI'S so far I've done completely by myself so I'd like to keep it that way if possible.

I would just get a pipe flanged from 2.5 to 4in a muffler shop could do it or you could go all the way and upgrade your stock exaust to a 4in system
