GOTTA get a radiator! Size advice needed (pics)

Confused on what size to get.
Core in my truck (AT) measures roughly the same as Radiator Barn's listed for manual trans,
23 3/4 wide and 18 high.
The one listed for AT was 26 3/8 wide and 19 high.
Both say transmission cooler, YES.
Is that what these other bolt holes are for, the wider one?

Plus, I would have to get another shroud for the wider one right?
Can I use the one listed at Radiator Barn for MT that measures
the same as my truck's radiator,
yet my truck is AT?
When I got my truck 15 years ago the guy said the rad was new,
maybe someone put the wrong one in?

Here's the radiator that I got from 1-800 radiators for mine 78 bronco it's a stock replacement the only thing they wanted to know was front mounted flange or rear mounted flange . I can take some measurements of it if you want?

The Bronco is AT. I now remember the measurements
26 3/8 wide and 19 high. It was a bolt in job an works great. I didn't have to get different shroud.

Im pretty sure what you got there is the right radiator because thats the same as in my 76 F150. The one in my 79 Bronco is way bigger. But from what im seeing when i look around, you just have a standard cooling radiator and the super cooling ones are bigger. I dont know what you will have to do with a bigger one. im sure you would have to change some stuff to make it work unless they make the flanges bolt up to your current setup. Here is a couple links to sites with radiators:

Standard cool would be fine. It runs about 190 (when it's full!)
Leeking like a siv. Put in a gallon every 10 -15 miles.
When they say core measurement, is that basically what you see of the fins?
Why would they specify AT or MT? Don't they both have tranny line ports?
Thanks

Usually more rows equals more cooling. As long as it fits it shouldn't be an issue. The only prob I see with aluminum is I don't believe you can get it repaired at the radiator shop I think they are a use once and replace item.

Yeah core measurement would be where you see all those fins. They specify AT and MT because only the AT radiator has tranny lines goin into it. You can still use an AT radiator though for a MT you just wont hook up any tranny lines into it.

Okay then, the one listed for MT measures the same as mine. My truck is AT.
But of course it's 300 dollars where the big one is 170. (Plastic tanks.)
Well this gives me some food for thought then.
Might try 1 800 Radiator or Jeff's.

I-W..the one one ebay would be a great deal, but as in my OP, I guess it is too big for a bolt in replacement on mine.
Thanks everyone!

Still a little confused though...when I shop around online, the only ones I find with the right measurments
are listed for smaller V8 (351m/302) and even 6 cyl?

I do remember the guy said 'that's a 79 motor'
but later I just figured it was a sales pitch.
A 79 without electronic ignition?
And he said it was a new radiator.
Just gotta get the right one that's gonna bolt up
without mods.
I might give Jeff my dimensions and see what he suggests.
THX
