Question WHAT DO THESE NUMBERS MEAN?

I found these numbers on the passenger side of my engine
C90E-6015-E3AZ

8K23

There is also big 79 under the last spark plug & a big 17 by the starter

Not much, and number guy will fumigate, but give or take; 1969 car block.

The only one that really means anything to us is the 8K23, which is the casting date code. That, combined with the C9 portion of the other number says the block was cast on October 23, 1968, for the 1969 model year. FWIW.
