batteries and heat

Well here l8le iv been haveing some trouble with my truck iv been getting jumped alot. Idont know if its my alternator or batteries. I charged my truck with my girlfriends car for an hour and my truck busted right off. I killed my truck disconected and went to bed this morning nothing, can someone give me some input.

need to know a little more, how old are your batts, did you get alt tested, have you checked for power drains?

well one is fairly new 10 and ones from 08 i havent had my alternator tested. would it be possiable sometimes it would charge my batt and some times not?

From: Marlboro Mental Hospital.

put a volt meter on the batteries when running. 12 volts or less, alternator/charging system is not working.
14 to 15 volts, and the charging system is fine, and you either have a bad battery or a draw on the batteries when shut off.
