C-6 wide ratio conversion

Has anybody else tried this conversion with parts harvested from a E4OD directly? I am in the beginning of doing one of these and am wondering if there is any suprises I may encounter. So far everythting is looking real good no major problems except where the retainer ring goes to hold the low reverse ring gear to the output shaft I think the needle bearing that goes in place of the thrust washer is taking up more room. two options drill the back plate of the ring gear for the trhust washer or reclearance the inside of the ring gear for the snap ring to fit up.

This will give me the lower 1st and 2nd gear and allow me to get the lowest possible gear ratio and still have go drivablity on the road.
