It's nice, because it's very thin, and it's 3/8's drive, so you can use a smaller ratchet. You don't need a big one anyway.
Personally, in my opinion, a 6 point socket is less likely to cause damage than a 12 point socket. So I managed to find a 6 point 24mm for the upper filter as well.

I am glad I am not the only one who has had their engine fuel filter cap turn to butter when trying to replace it - it is breaking to pieces - it moved a little - its too late now to be hammering so I will have to resume tomorrow - Wish me Luck!
