My ranger won't start,engine turns, battery is good,does'nt seem to be getting fuel.Took out the inertia switch but no auto parts store carries the part.Where can I get this part?Checked fuses they're good.Hoping it's not the fuel pump.Any suggestions?

YOU MY WANT TO CHECK THE FUEL SHUT OFF ON THE PASSANGER SIDE IN THE FOOT PANEL THEN THE FUEL FILTER HAVE YOU PULLED ONE OF THE PLUG WIRES AND TEST TO SEE IF YOU GOT SPARK,AMD IF THATS ALL GOOD MIGHT HAVE SOME BAD GAS OR THE DISTRIBATER COULD BE BAD OR FUEL INJECTOR WENT OUT,GOOD LUCK

 

I have heard that the fuel pump relay is another issue with our 94's.. Someone said its behind the glove box (i cant find one there) or under the hood in the power distro box.

 

Day 2; Came home from work and went to test if I could here the fuel pump by turning the key on, could not here anything.Son turns the ignition and truck started, arrrrggg.Yesterday I took off the inertia switch and put it back in( under the dash passanger side).I'm hoping that was it we'll see.
Taking it in to have the codes checked to make sure.

Day 3;Truck would not start when my son tried it.I stuck a hose in the tank and had the wife turn the key on and with the end of the hose in my ear I could here the pump run ( whirl sound ). Checked plugs, they were not fouled.Fuse was good, turned the key and it started.
Took it in to my friends shop he was having the same issue,starting,not starting.Put in a new relay switch and it's stating every time so far.No charge for the work yet,wants me to drive it a few days to make sure that was the problem.
