IP replacement update

I spent about 30 min yesterday tinkering with the TPS/FIPL trying to adjust it before I realized that it wasn't even connected to anything on the IP. I assumed(Duh) that all I had to do was take it off one pump and put it on the new one. So I got the thingy off the old one and put everything back together, adjusted the voltage according to directions I found here, Thank You very much. So this morning when I romped on it my truck squealed the tires and took off like a scalded monkey and then chirped when it shifted into 2nd. I had no idea how much power my truck actually had until this morning. HOLY SH&T

Nice. You did something right. I couldn't break traction in my truck no matter what I did. Maybe that will change once I get my IP and injector mess sorted out.

Eaton brother I feel bad for you! Everytime I see your name on here I think poor guy cause I know how bad of shape I would have been in if I would have had the same results that you did when I changed my IP and injectors. I know an old guy that has a couple of IDI's setting in his yard. One is an 88 or 89 F250 and the other is a 92 F Superduty rollback. Both are just setting there with weeds growing up around them. I bet if I go there in uniform he'll give me the IP's off both of them. If he will I'll send them to you. I don't know if they are good or not but it's a thought anyway.

Hahaha now thats a success story!!
I got to drive my dads the other day 92 F250 ATS 93. Whole engine rebuild 40k ago by a local shop, sleeved, balanced and tuned pump. WOW. granted, his whole truck is on the whole way nicer than mine and in better shape. That thing will flat out get with it, matted it in 3rd around 30mph and i woulda swore i was in our 6.0. Actually not quite the 7.3 is alot more responsive off the line and doesnt quite have the top end, but its no slouch for damn sure.
