Steering stabilizer recommendations

I was wondering what everyones preference is single or dual. I switched to the HP D60 from a 79 F350 which had a single on that was junk so I took it off. Since then everthing has been serviced or replaced with new. Saturday was its maiden voyage with the new setup. I ran it all weekend with the hummer tires without issue but yesterday I put the 40's on and it didnt like that at all. About 40mph it got the death wobble. Once the tires got some heat in them it wasnt as noticeable but still did it on a bumpy road. Right now I have nothing on for a stabilizer. The closed knuckle 44 was what it was with power assist but it never pulled one of those tricks. I need a stablizer ASAP.

It may not drive good but at least it looks cool with the wider axle in the front.

For the death wobble you might want to consider adding a couple washers in the kingpin caps. Not completely sure on how many but I hear guys putting one or two 7/8" to stop death wobble when the run big tires. I'll have to test it out when I get mine finished and see what works( I run 39.5s) as for the steering stabilizer I have one I bought from skyjacker, and never got around to putting it on so I'm going to see if it fits on the 60.

Ok. I think I might try a stabilizer before the washer trick. I heard
about that before but I thought it was only for wore out king pins. I might order the dual kit that goes like back to back rather than the stacked type.

Mine is back to back. I like it better. And Ive been hearing that it's needed for bigger tires. I'll test drive mine and see how it does, and add washers as needed.
