hey ,that's very kind of you, thanks very much.
so need to buy a different water pump or pulleys,w.pump is easier and cheaper.what do you suggest? If I would find a different power steering pump, with the serpentine belt would it be helpful?what else,i just can't change everything, what the guy told me,haven't got a money for it.thanks very much again.yes it's a shame we are far away from the paradise of american parts.by the way,I lived in IO and Fl for 18months,but that was 10 years ago.was a lovely time.Tushy

So, it looks like your water pump pulley lines up with the crank pulley? Is that correct? Using your current bracket, does the power steering pulley line up with the other two at all? If the first two line up already, I'd think the easiest way to go would be to find a power steering pump with the correct serpentine pulley on it. So, the logical one you'd want would be the replacement of the one that was originally already on there. Do you know for sure what the motor was out of? Is American Ebay a possibility for you there? Iowa and Florida? Hmm. I know which one I'd rather be in during the winter.

Looking at your pictures, I don't see all of the rest of the parts to make the serpentine stuff work. Do you have all the brackets, tensioner, and all the other accessories, too? If you're missing a bunch of that stuff, you might be just as well off to start over from scratch and get the whole works from one engine, or pick up a set of aftermarket bits. Ford, in their infinite wisdom, made just about a different set of front dress accessories for every car they built. If you don't have a matching set of brackets and pullies, it's hard to make anything work.

Good point. Even the timing covers varied, so you'd have to start there and wok your way forward. Maybe you could snag parts from one motor to make sure it all works together.

Good deal. Next time you talk with David, tell him Painter Wayne, from the Classic Mustang Forum sent you, and that I said Hi.
