If it's on the pedestal it's the exhaust back pressure control valve it's only used when idleing at below freezing temps don't worry bought it you can't get that connector except through places like Riffraff or diesel site you can just put a 128ohm resistor IIRC from radio shack to eliminate the soft code it will set but I'm not positive on that resistor value, maybe someone else remembers?
