OCD issues

Has anyone found a way to eliminate road dirt from the door sills, living in Florida with constant road work dirt/sand sills stay filthy. The solid steps on my KR did a fair job, however I now have bars which I prefer.

Does the door seal modification help at all...thanks.

No the door seals are further in from the dirt your seeing. That area is not sealed at all. I have a shop that is on a dirt road and I also spend allot of time in the desert. I have the same issue, it drives me crazy seeing the dirt in there.

Right DT. Those "seals" are not seals at all. They are really just splash guards to keep the big chunks of mud from getting past. Not sure they do that very well either. We were throwing around the idea of using some king of large tubing to actually seal it but never got around to it.

I like the dirt there. When someone accuses me of being a city boy trying to act like a country boy, I can open the door and show them there IS some dirt on the truck.
