I was just saying you could do a basically modified stock tune? Until you went with a switchable tuner, just a thought. If you were already investing in injectors I thought, maybe you would get some upgrades while you were there. Once you installed a chip the PCM would be overwritten anyway, so if you bought your tunes later you could have them tuned for the single shots, rather than buying a tuner for stock splits, then getting retuned for the singles later if you went with them.

Yeah the price you posted earlier, gets you injectors, from a reputable builder with as good a warranty as new, and at a better price than you were quoted? Seems like a no brainer to me? But I'm just throwing the options out there to try to help.

I know you are. I appreciate the options. I just hadn't planned on spending the extra money. Ill contact riffraff tomorrow and see what my options are. Since I still need to buy the rebuild kit and other parts.

Great pics, Hope it all turns out great. I would hold up and save up a bit if it were me and just do it all while the motor is out. throw some head studs on there also, pick up your injectors and do it all at once. That is if you have the time to keep the truck down.

I have not been driving it for about 3 months now. I have been thinking about head studs. But with a stock turbo not sure I need head studs. I really want it back together. I'm getting married in less than 2 months plus we just bought a house. So I have stop somewhere. Maybe when I upgrade the turbo ill do head studs.

She is the one that told me to use he extra money I have and do it right. Including couple mods that are easier to do now. Like head studs, 910 valve springs, stage 1's, DP tuner, bellowed up-pipes. She knows the extra money spent now will be less time and money spent later.
