I just put in a set of guages, and a DP tuner. 80hp econo is awesome! My EGT temp is at 200 at warm idle, and trans is at 169. Do these temps seem about the norm? Or do I have a guage issue? EGT is pre-turbo

200 EGTs is kinda low. I'm 400 at idle, with ambient temps at 70*.
MY tranny is also very consistent at 150* unless I'm towing.
HMMMM, wonder what's going on? What would the issue be? trans temp went up a hair at idle after running it. that seemed a little weird. EGT's temp goes right up when running hard, but when idling after, they drop right back down around 200.
Been a while on tranny fluid, but just checked it last night. Could probably use a change, but doesn't seem to be bad. EGT seems to go right up to about 1000-1100 when i leean on it. Wouldn't exhaust leeak issue be more an issue under power?
Well, Id go ahead and do a tranny service. Fluid and filter and see if that drops it. Also, clean your cooler. But in all actuality, 169* is nothing to be worried about. 220* is the danger threshold.
I'm really having a tough time understanding why the trans temp went UP after I parked it and let it sit for a bit idling.Maybe I just gotta do a little more driving and studying the guage to find out if it changes from the the first fire up and run with the chip
Those EGT'sw definitely seem low. Mine runs around 300 at idle. That being said, I recently did a guage install myself. I had several issues with the Autometer Cobalt guage I installed as well. Spent some time on the horn with Autometer. They told me that EGT guages are designed not to be super accurate at low temps, but they get more accurate the hotter they get. He told me anywhere from 100 - 400 was normal for the guage when the truck was at idle.
While he shared that information, he was not able to diagnose why my guage would read different all the time (sometimes below zero at idle when running, sometimes 800+, etc.). The guage never worked the same twice and the readings were always screwy. They told me to send the guage back, so before I did that, I went back through my wiring to make sure I didn't screw something up. I was looking at the wiring when all of a sudden my needle on the gauge moved. I investigated that further and turns out that my guage wasn't making a solid connection on the back of the guage. I had the wired on right and used the autometer wires that came with the guage, but even with the screw nice and tight, it didn't get a good connection. I pulled all of my connectors and put some elictrical grease on it. The guages works perfect now.
this might not be you issue, but it also might be worth checking. Hope it helps.
p.s. Autometer was fantastic and was very accomodating. They stood behind their product and did everything in their power to help me. Props to them.
