STARTING PROBLEM

so we to go start my truck the other day after been sitting for a month and it wouldnt start. i charged the battery but when i turn the key to the start position i hear a weird clicking noise. im pretty sure its the starter kickin in and out rapidly but sometimes the gear will stay out and you can hear the pistons moving slowly but just not enough to actually start the truck. any ideas on what could be goin on? im sellin her so i need to get this figured out asap!

This sounds like either a very weak battery, or poor battery terminal connections.

Clean both battery terminal connections and make sure that they are tight. Check cable connections from the battery to ground and battery wiring to the starter. Charge the snot out of the battery and try again.
