Battery? Starter? Or??

Battery? Starter? Or??
I went to fire up my 76 f250 to see how it would start in the colder weather because it hadnt been started in awhile and got nothing. There was one click and nothing. So i went to try and jump it, and first a click then the real fast clicking noise but still nothing (Im sure you guys know what im talking about). So whats my problem? It was about 23 degrees out and the battery is only a couple months old with only about 8-10 starts on it.

When I have a vehicle that won't start I always check the condition of the battery first. Then check and clean all connections. Bad connections are one of the number reasons for something not to work correctly.

If you cranked it too many times with a dead battery you probably fried the solenoid (or welded the internal contacts together)
Make sure the battery is charged and if it doesnt crank dont hold the key in the start position cause each click = damage you cant see.
