Hey guys, just got home. Managed to get on the last flight in to Bradley tonight. I was kind of hoping to be stuck in CO, then I wouldn't have to deal with any of this. Oh well. I'm in for a long night and day of dealing with oxygen patients out of power. Good luck guys. Just saw the first strike of lightning and clap of thunder. Oh boy!!

Well, we still have power but it's raining pretty hard... sideways.
Amazing how much warm air these storms pull with them.

from what I see on the NWS northeast sector radar loop there's another 6-7 hours until the eye gets here.

We lost power about 6am. I'm not starting the generator until the rain stops, or until my iPad battery goes dead.

Morning all, no issues here to speak of. Its raining, but not much. Checked the radar when I got up this morning and all the yellow and red were gone. So much for hurricane Irene.

I have the generator humming along.
My sister-in-law had 2 trees come down and take out her shed and deck.
So far all i have are a lot of leaves and branch's.

branches are flying by sideways and there are a couple trees down. power was gone around 2am.

and i see the skank is officially a tropical storm now. she still is blowing like a champ!
