If you have Verizon, you are probably all set. They are the only company that has generators at EVERY cell site.

We have Verizon and a tower within 200 yards and it does have a diesel generator.

i am going to park my truck in the hay field, just to be safe. im going to help them in a little bit, and make sure eveything is ready and we have enough water for the animals. its a guaranteed power loss up where they are, even with the smallest storms. hurricanes usually knock it out for a few days.

i feel for you jim, my mom had to work late yesterday to help evacuate all of the residents from the shoreline located nursing home. very few residents wanted to go.
