Evening guys.
Thanks for the clips Miles and Greg, they are great!!!!!!.
Matt if you are going to be putting baby seats in go for the crew cab.
I had a 03 super cab and then we had a 3rd kid and had to get a crew cab, but the crew is a LOT better and gives you a lot more room with kids.
Hi Pete.
How goes the lawn care ?
I am on vacation till a week from Sat.
Things are actually starting to green up again on a few of the lawns that were dying.
We're usually around 2 weeks out. Lately we started catching up due to the number of lawns we've been skipping (cause they're dead)
Mark got a call for 2 mulch jobs this week and we're still not totally done cutting hedges I don't think. Jake can't do anything but mow right now because his foot is broken. He goes back to the doctor in 3 weeks I leave for school in 2 so Mark asked if I'd be willing to work late a few days doing mulch, etc so I'll be picking up some extra hours doing that.
Got reamed a little for beating up my trim side and center blades on my mower. Discharge side looked fine for whatever reason. Monday and Tuesday's lawns are filled with rocks. Sometimes I misjudge the distance I went and accidentally drop the deck on top of a rock, sometimes you just don't see the rock, sometimes you think you can go over without picking up the deck. I'm not the only one to hit rocks and tree roots but I'm still the FNG so I hear about it most.
Anyone hear about the world record fish caught off the CT coast? Weighed in around 81 pounds.
Edit: Forgot to include... we did a decent sized lawn in 7 minutes... mowed, trimmed, and blew off the driveway
VW is perfectly reliable to be UNRELIABLE!!! i leave for D.C. tomorrow to see the wife and "vacation" for our 5th anniversary. the POS vw has a check engine light and misfire, 2 times in the last 2 days it had a crank-no-start issue that fixed itself after a few minutes, and there is a "wheel falling off" noise from the front left that hides when i jack the front end up to find the problem. i will be driving my mom's SAAB down to D.C.
That depends greatly on the operator, get an experienced operator and the flat bed can do a fair amount of recovery work.
But still not the right tool for the job. I've done my fair share of both. Yes, there was nothing I wasn't able to do with the flatbed, but if I had the wrecker, I wouldn't have to keep moving the truck.
