Hello everyone.
Nothing to report on the job front, the General Manager said he is pursuing getting me hired for other positions.
Guess it's good that I didn't head off last Monday for that start date as my cellphone died Tuesday, wouldn't even complete a reset.
Now I have an iPhone 4, I picked it because I read that it locks up the least.
While I was there a person was there complaining that her new iPhone 4 was dropping every call.
Luck of the draw I guess.

In regard to the discussions of brake line failures.
Today's vehicles have 'parking brakes' whereas the older vehicles had 'emergency brakes.'
This I guess occurred when the auto industry went to all disc brakes.
I wonder if someone could sue on account of the industry designing out a safety feature?

Good... afternoon? 12 on the dot.
I got two phone calls from the dealer yesterday, after making an appointment for service at another dealer. The story has made it's rounds around all of the manager's offices and the owner's office, and they think at this point that the only thing to truthfully make me happy is to buy it back and cut me "a hell of a deal" on a new truck. I think Customer Care called them, since that's pretty much what I told her...
Now decision time....

Hello everyone
Found up that the bumper I bought for my iPhone 4 is Apple's way of solving the dropped calls problem.
The phone has three antennas and they constitute the metal banding encircling the phone.
When holding the phone by a 'death grip' (they call it) the 'call' antenna which is at the bottom of the phone has body contact to another antenna, the bumper serves to insulate them from your grip.
The other two antennas are the Bluetooth and the Wifi.
So I guess, as I mentioned before, luck comes into play and for me this time it was getting the bumper for my phone just for the mechanical protection is afforded and it ends up taking care of the dropped calls issue too.
