The easiest way to remove the old one is cut it. I have only bought a few window gaskets in my life, and both of those were over the counter at local parts stores. No complaints with quality. I have found the the easiest way to install it is to put the gasket on the window, set the bottom in, get somebody to hold pressure on the outside, and start hooking it with a tool like this.
I should clarify....with the curves in this tool, you start at the corners where the gasket is still outside the cab. You slide the tool in behind the gasket and rotate your hand sort of towards your body from the inside of the cab. After just a couple of "hooks" you will find it goes pretty easy. Once you have hooked both sides upwards and have made it around the curves on the upper corners of the windows, you can usuall just slide the hook along the top of the window pulling the gasket inside. A little dish soap in the channel helps every slide together nicely and cleans up easily afterwards. Good luck.
