Transmission upgrades??
Hey guys, My first gears been hittin hard now for a while, and Clay from riffraff figures I should get a new valve body. What are some other week points in our 4r100s? I was planning on a shift kit and some sort of converter. I have future plans to add some mild power to her, injectors, chip, propane or water/meth.. The usual. I'm looking to spend up to 3000$ what do you guys suggest I do? Thanks

Hard-hitting, and erratic shifts, are a sign that you may have a sticky line pressure modulator valve.
It's caused by a steel valve wearing in an aluminum bore.
Sonnax has a fix for that. See:

There's other things to do when you have it apart, as well.
