First of all drop the attitude.
Second, there are multiple places to put a sending unit, from the intake manifold to the t-stat outlet to a heater hose to the radiator fins.
Third, the FE engine needs a little more initial timing than what was standard. 10-12 degrees will really wake it up. And remember to set that with the vacuum advance disconnected and plugged.
look josh or what ever your name is first of all their is no attitude. and second all ?'s were answered to the best of my knowledge. If something was said that you found to be offensive then sorry for your feelings. and third I told everybody thank you. So where did you get that there was an attitude. and as far as the timing issue goes are you speaking from exp. or just what you have read?
josh thanks for the link and after seeing your truck it just makes me want to do more to mine. Love the sleeper look. plain black paint and the wheels (i have the same ones on my 74) does it hook up very good? with that beast you call a motor in it do you still drive it often? and if so whats the mileage you get? only asking for i have heard that sometimes with the right set up you can some what get some mileage as well as all the fun that comes with building a ford. Also would like to know your thoughts on which intake to go with as for as aftermarket 4barrel to rid mine of unwanted weight
