I recently found out i have some bad parts on my truck, and i have some questions about them. I drive an 05 f250 2wd 6.0. The first thing is the steering stabilizer. Ive heard 2wd didnt come with them, but i know theres one DEAD one on it, i just dont know where. I havent had time to look at anything but was wondering where to look first. I also have to do front and rear shocks. When i have the front end down, i am going to be putting in 2 inch leveling blocks. Any tips or recommendations on how to do, or what order to do things in would be much appreciated. thanks in advance and sorry for the long post.
Some 2wd did have them . Mine does and the stock one didnt last more than 40k miles. I replaced it with a cheap rancho unit.
I also did the 2" front lift and i had to go with new shocks and i tried pro comp(junk), Bilstein(too stiff) and ended up going with daystar (okay) .
Its hard finding 2" longer front shocks for diesel 2wd that dont suck.
The steering damper is under the front end in plain sight.
