OT but interesting work
Working in the shop today and ran across an extra steering wheel I've had laying around but needed serious repair then thought of a post at a woodworking forum I ran across.
We have a fully equipped shop to handle the procedure so we thought you might be interested! The first thread is done by a friend of mine in California.
I know we all would like to keep our trucks as original as possible but have any of you considered doing this for your truck?

I always like to see fine woodworking...especially when it's automotive related. Thanks for sharing!
There is a local guy who restores steering wheels by replacing the bakelite with some sort of plastic resins that look like bakelite...the wheels look great but there's nothing like a precision wooden wheel to set off an interior.
