Steering Wheel

Has anyone replaced the original steering wheel with a different one. The reason I'm asking is the one on my 74 is all cracked from age. Just wondered what else would work.

I want to say the stering wheels in the broncos and trucks all the way to 86 would work, but the 78-86 stering wheels when installed would have about a 1/2" gap between the stering colum and the wheel. But 73-77 should all fit fine on your truck.

I replaced my mine with a Grant custom that is smaller in diameter and like it a lot more than the original size.

Grant sells installation kits to put any standard 3 bolt hole steering wheel kit on lines up and looks great

I had problems with the turn signal cancelers when I installed a Grant 15" 3spoke wheel in my 77 F150.

i have a grant gt 4 spoke wheel in my 74 ,its a smaller wheel than stock, but everything went on fine, and the turn signals cancel properly too. as said already, grant makes kits to fit all sorts of styles, on many types of vehicles. they have been around for years, so it should be easy to get the parts you need.good luck.
