Was told by salesman that the Tuxedo Black is (was) from Japan and since the tsunami Ford cannot get it anymore. Glad i got one with it as i dont care for the flat black.
I have a 12 and I clearly remember reading in their literature of 1 touch down driver and passenger window controls/ Well I dont have passenger 1 touch. At first lariots were to have plastic running boards and that changed. Also on the overhead console there is a switch in the middle, what might it be? I cant notice it doing anything and the manual says consoles differ depending on options, thats it.
Originally this was supposed to happen and was very exciting! Personally I'd rather have a one touch up then down if I had to chose. For some reason they canceled this and came out with a revised order guide noting the change not too long before they started producing the 12s.

I love my Tuxedo Black metallic, however in the event of a minor accident requiring painting I wonder if they can match the color. If they can't the entire truck will require a complete repaint.

Good luck getting the insurance company to cover that cost!

I believe that Tuxedo black is back on the market.

On my truck it opens the sunroof. Do you have three switches up there? That's what I have - left one props one the sun/moon roof, middle slides it all the way back, and the right one opens the rear window.

I believe he is referring to the garage opener/gate/homelink buttons on the visor. The third is homelink...you can turn on your interior house lights,..like a lamp, if you have the proper hook up inside.
Oh. I thought you could program those three buttons to do whatever you wanted? I use the left one for my garage door opener and the right one for my gate opener. Middle is not programmed. But I don't have homelink either.
I let a friend use my truck and he jack knifed a a trailer and ruined my bed. I replaced the entire bed with a take off bed that was Oxford white. So I had to paint it Tuxedo black. I was concerned about the colors on the bed matching my cab, I asked the paint store if I needed to bring in my Fuel door for them match the color. They said no need, The Tuxedo Black is very consistant and they've never had any probem with it matching. He just handed me the can of paint and said have fun.
I put two coats of black over the white bed and then two coats of clear and it it matches perfectly. So from my experience, I would not be too worried about that color matching.
