simple newbie wiring question
i have to rewire my stock 84' f350's radio (the cassette dual **** one model E4AF-19A198-AA) and my issue is, the replacement harness connectors i purchased have grounds for each speaker, while the radio only has 1 ground for all of them, which grounds to the chassis, the following wires are coming from the radio its self (not including the dimmer/ignition wires..i got those :P)
white/green = right front
orange/green = left ront
pink/green = left rear
pink/blue = right rear
black = ground speakers
so since i only have two door speakers, that means i only need to use white/green and orange/green, right? and if so, what the heck do i do with the negatives? do i twist two of them onto a single ground? this is both sides as well. the replacement harness radio side and truck side. Which basically, coming from the radio, i would have two grounds in the harness connected to the black ground wire. coming from the truck i would have two grounds twisted to the single chassis ground, and so when they connect it would complete the connection. to me, this sounds fine but i dont know a whole lot about wiring and i dont wanna blow up this radio
i'll try to simplify my question if it seems too confusing, basically i have to ground two speakers on one ground wire. can you do this without blowing something up or shorting something out?
thanks in advance as always!
