Does any one have a wiring schematic for the stock Ford AM/FM/tape with
remote CD pack? The model number is F75F-19B165-DA. There is no label on this unit that tells you what is power, front and rear speakers etc that most units have. So if any one has either a schematic or knows the colour code, that would be a great help. Also this is in a 98 F150.
Can't remember the pins but if you go to your local car audio shop they would have a Metra 71-1771 harness for 98 Fords. Should be a large almost square looking harness. If it's two longer ones that go vertical on the back of the radio then it would be a Metra 71-1770
I don't need the connector to the radio I need to know the colour code for what the wires do. I'm adding in a Clarion Camouflage Sub woofer but the T harness that I got from Crutchfields doesn't work with this stereo. The connector that should plug into the radio is too big. Now Crutchfield claims they don't have a harness that supports this radio. So if I had some type of schematic or colour code, I could splice into the existing harness to get the sub woofer working.
I see. You should have stated your need for this wiring in the first posting. Could have had it too you a day sooner. So you're basically needing the speaker wire colors for the inputs on your amped enclosure?
This should be the right colors
LF Speaker + lt. blue/white
LF Speaker - orange/lt. green
RF Speaker + dk. green/orange
RF Speaker - white/lt. green
LR Speaker + tan/yellow
LR Speaker - gray/lt. blue
